The Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service (NAS), Dr. George Kojo Owusu, has joined the Vice-Chancellor and Management of Takoradi Technical University (TTU) for a vibrant Health Walk in Takoradi, aimed at promoting wellness, fitness, and preventive healthcare.
The event highlighted the importance of regular physical activity in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and reducing the risk of non-communicable diseases. Dr. Owusu commended TTU for prioritizing staff and student wellbeing through such initiatives.
Beyond fitness, the engagement also served as a platform to strengthen collaboration between NAS and TTU for mutual institutional benefit. Discussions focused on building sustainable partnerships in health education, emergency preparedness, and community outreach.
As part of this collaboration, NAS will also provide First Aid and Basic Life Support training for TTU students and staff to empower them with lifesaving skills and improve emergency response on campus.
The National Ambulance Service remains committed to strategic partnerships that promote health, safety, and resilience across Ghanaian communities.
